“Secret Garden” to hold an OST concert

SBS’s “Secret Garden” will be holding an OST concert on January 15th to coincide with the filming of the series’ last episode.
Some of the top vocalists of Korea, including Baek Ji Young, 4men and others, will be performing at the concert in order to give viewers an opportunity to relive the drama’s special moments live.   A screen will display memorable scenes from the drama while artists perform tracks such as “Here I Am,” “I Can’t Do It,” “That Woman,” and “Reason.”
Hyun Bin and Yoon Sang Hyun will also be making appearances in the drama, along with an event allowing fans a chance to win the highly popular track suit worn by Hyun Bin.
After the concert, 2,000 fans will be chosen to watch the second to last episode of “Secret Garden” together.
Footage taken at the concert will be used for the final episode scheduled to air on the 16th, and tickets will be on sale starting on the 6th through Interpark.

Bintang Korea yang akan WaMil tahun 2011!

Tahun baru sebentar lagi tiba, dan wajib militer telah menandai target mereka untuk melakukan pendaftaran di tahun 2011.

Rain  diharapkan untuk melayani layanan wajib militer paling lambat pada tahun 2011. Sementara ia sedang pergi (WaMil), Rain telah membuat rencana dengan JYP untuk “mengurus” perusahaan manajemennya, J-Tune (yang juga menaungi boy band MBLAQ).

Taecyeon 2PM, yang dicast dalam drama remaja mendatang dari kolaborasi Bae Yong-joon dan JYP “Dream High”, mungkin akan mencoba untuk menunda layanan itu. Namun, ujian tubuh yang dilakukan lebih awal mengungkapkan bahwa mungkin ada masalah dengan kondisi fisiknya. Meskipun begitu, Taecyeon menegaskan bahwa ia akan masuk militer dan melayani negaranya.

Selain itu, Hyun Bin, bintang dari drama hit, “Secret Garden” akan dikirim pergi selama 2 tahun pada bulan Maret 2011 bersama dengan Lee Teuk dari Super Junior.

Dream High’ releases OST Part 1

We are just less than 24 hours away from the premiere of KBS 2TV’s ‘Dream High‘ and Part 1 of the OST has just been released, to get fans into the mood.
Part 1 of the OST contains 2 songs, which are both performed by the idol cast members. The first titled, ‘Dream High‘, is sung by Wooyoung, Suzy and JOO, with rapping by Taecyeon, and ties in with the drama’s theme of running after your passions and dreams. The second song is titled, ‘Someday‘ and is performed by IU, and appears to be one for romantic scenes in the drama.

Super Junior’s leader Leeteuk talks about leaving for the army and his hopes for 2011

Super Junior’s leader Lee Teuk unexpectedly talked about his activities before he leaves for the army.
On this week’s episode of MBC “Enjoy Today”, Leeteuk and the other cast members went on a marathon in commemoration of the New Year.
The idol also revealed his hopes for 2011 as he said, “There’s not a lot of days left before I go to the army. I will undergo activites without any regrets. I wish to keep running for the new year. I hope Super Junior does well too.”

Shin Se Kyung did not attend SHINee’s concert

Actress Shin Se Kyung did not attend her boyfriend’s two-day concert, held on January 1st and 2nd.
Much attention has been put on her attendance, since it was revealed late last year that she was seeing SHINee’s Jonghyun. SM Entertainment eventually responded, “We’ve been informed that Shin Se Kyung will not be attending SHINee’s concert today (Jan.2).  She is filming for her movie, ‘Blue Salt‘, with Song Kang Ho.”
Meanwhile, SHINhee managed to gather over 20,000 fans for their first concert since their debut two years and seven months ago. Jonghyun, who has a leg injury, had Chinese trainee Issing take his place during a portion of his performances.  Jonghyun greeted, “I’m glad to be able to spend the New Year with my fans.  It’s a great start this year.”

Choi Siwon, wins the New Star Award “Giving this honour to our Super Junior members”

Idol group actor Super Junior Choi Siwon received the New Star award at the 2010 SBS Drama Awards.
During his acceptance speech, he expressed “ELF who have been loving Super Junior members and us sincerely, (I) want to always be with all of you”, and continued “Throughout this year, many things happened, our SM family and all the members, everyone has worked hard, please show lots of attention in the future.
At the same time, he stated “Also, (I) hope that everyone will like <Athena: Goddess of War> which is broadcasting at the moment, Choi Siwon will continue to work hard to become an excellent actor, we’re Super Juni~or!”, the image of him holding out his palm and shouting out the greeting attracted the attention of all.

‘Dream High’ releases OST Part 1

For SHINee fans, the best way to kick off 2011 was to see special handwritten messages from their favorite idols.
The boys recently took to their official site and left behind some heartwarming notes for their fans:
