Super Junior-K.R.Y to hold their first Korean concert

Super Junior’s ballad unit, Super Junior-K.R.Y will be holding their first Korean concert, “SUPER JUNIOR-K.R.Y THE 1ST CONCERT,” for three days from February 11th through the 13th.
Consisting of members Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, and Yesung, Super Junior-K.R.Y was the first ballad sub-unit for the group. They’ve also featured in a variety of OST albums.
SM Entertainment officials revealed, “Super Junior-K.R.Y completed concerts in Japan and Taiwan last year.  A lot of Korean fans have been wanting to see their concert, and so we’ve decided to listen to those requests.  We’re anticipating a hot response.”
Tickets will go on sale starting January 13th through G-Market.

So Ji Sub kembali berakting dengan “Only You”

Aktor So Ji telah mengumumkan kembali resminya ke layar lebar setelah absen dua tahun.
Meskipun ia saat ini sedang menyempurnakan kontrak, So Ji Sub akan syuting untuk film, "Only You". Disutradarai oleh Song Il Gon dan diproduksi oleh HB Entertainment, "Only You" akan menggambarkan kisah cinta romantis seorang mantan petinju (So Ji Sub) yang jatuh cinta dengan seorang wanita buta.
Setelah casting penuh telah diatur, produksi resmi akan memulai syuting pada Maret mendatang.
Jadi pembuatan film terakhir Ji Sub adalah film komedi romantis pada 2009 yang berjudul, "Revenge Sophie", yang dibintangi oleh Zhang Ziyi.

One Way merilis album "Rainy Days" feat Junsu 2PM

Hari ini, grup musik One Way membuat rilis digital berjudul “Rainy Days” di situs musik Korea,

Menandai peresmian kembalinya One way sejak debutnya 10 bulan yang lalu.

Video music ini akhirnya diresmikan melalui You Tube. Video music dengan penampilan yang sempurna menunjukkan bakat mereka, gedung peninggalan yang cocok dengan keseluruhan lirik yang mengekspresikan kesedihan seorang pria yang kehilangan cintanya. Penambahan vocal dan penampilan Junsu membuat sentuhan akhir yang sempurna.

Keseluruhan album juga menampilkan berbagai vocal tamu seperti J dan As One. Semua 10 lagu termasuk dalam album ini yang dibuat, tertulis, dan diatur oleh trio dan menawarkan berbagai genre seperti R & B, electronica, swing, dan balada, keseluruhannya tetap  menggunakan hip hop sebagai basisnya.

"Dream High" menarik kritikan setelah penayangan perdana

KBS 2TV's "Dream High" akhirnya ditayangkan episode pertama hari ini, tapi tampaknya awal yang sulit dengan beberapa kontroversi yang berasal hanya plot yang ditayangkan.

Episode itu berhasil menghasilkan rating 10,7% , tertinggal dari SBS's "Athena: Goddes of War" dan MBC "Quee Pemulihan",  yang masing-masing tercatat 16,3% dan 14,2%.

Sebelum ditayangkan, penonton sangat kecewa atas semua line-up pemain, karena setengah dari mereka tidak memiliki pengalaman berakting sebelumnya. Pendapat tentang drama, dan di tengah-tengah kontroversi terdapat miss A Suzy, yang memainkan peran 'Hyemi. "
Karena ia adalah peran utama untuk drama, penonton kecewa dengan kemampuan aktingnya yang buruk dan mengkritik dia untuk berbicara seolah-olah ia sedang membaca dari sebuah buku. Wooyoung, yang memainkan peran 'Jason,' juga dikritik karena ekspresi wajah aneh nya meskipun hanya untuk beberapa garis.

Pemirsa berkomentar, "Ini adalah titik di mana aku tidak bisa terus menonton," "Dia ratu berakting mengerikan," "Dalam kelompoknya, Suzy bertanggung jawab dari visual, dan sepertinya dia berusaha untuk meningkatkan penampilannya , "dan" Mereka bahkan tidak siap untuk berdiri di depan layar. Dia percaya diri dan berusaha melakukan yang terbaik. Itu tak terelakkan baginya karena merasa gugup, dan meskipun dikritik dengan ketat."

“My Princess” releases five new posters!

MBC’s new mini-series, “My Princess,” has released five official posters on January 4th.
The posters feature the four leading roles of the drama - Song Seung Hun, Kim Tae Hee, Park Ye Jin, and Ryu Soo Young – in a luxurious atmosphere fit for the high class lifestyle of the characters.
Although Kim Tae Hee was actually sick with a cold during the poster’s photoshoot last month, she showed a professional attitude by going through the entire filming with bright smiles.
Staff on-set revealed an interesting episode in which the two men tried to stand as far back as possible in the full cut because of the unusually tiny faces of the two ladies.
The drama will air its pilot episode on January 5th.

Kim Hyun Joong makes a cameo appearance in Dream High and possible album release?

Singer and actor Kim Hyun Joong made a surprise cameo appearance on KBS2TV drama “Dream High” which has been gathering some attention.
The highly anticipated drama aired it’s pilot episode on January 3rd with Kim Hyun Joong making a surprise cameo appearance. For his role he played the role of a top celebrity answering questions from reporters at an airport upon his arrival.
Kim Hyun Joong looked very fashionable with his sunglasses and one of his answers in the drama has gained the interest of fans. A reporter asked him when he was going to release his new album and he responded, “The new album should be released around May.”
Mainly gaining interest because of the similarities between his plans and role in the drama and his actual plans for 2011. On January 2nd, Kim Hyung Joong left a new years message on his official website stating, “I’ve been working hard and want to show off a cool image for the new year. I want to star in a drama and release two albums this year, that’s my goal.”
Despite excited fans seeing this connection, an official from Kim Hyun Joong’s agency stated, “Currently there’s no plans for him to star in a drama nor release an album. There isn’t a concrete finalized schedule nor plan in place at the moment.”
With Kim Hyun Joong’s cameo appearance in Dream High, the drama was able to achieve a rating of 10.7% (AGB Nielsen).

The “High Kick” series to continue on with a 3rd season

It has been announced that MBC has decided to go on with a third season of their “High Kick” series.
“To match the rise in comprehensive programming channels in 2011, we have planned a great lineup of dramas, and through a new drama broadcasting enterprise, we will raise our status as the national content producing company,” revealed Green Snake Media.
The previous seasons of the “High Kick” series, “High Kick” and “High Kick Through The Roof“, received the best viewer sitcom ratings, and helped kick start the careers of actors such as Jung Ill Woo, Yoon Si Yoon, and Shin Se Kyung. This new season of “High Kick” will cast new actors with a new storyline that is sure to excite the mania fans of the sitcom series.

“Secret Garden” to hold an OST concert

SBS’s “Secret Garden” will be holding an OST concert on January 15th to coincide with the filming of the series’ last episode.
Some of the top vocalists of Korea, including Baek Ji Young, 4men and others, will be performing at the concert in order to give viewers an opportunity to relive the drama’s special moments live.   A screen will display memorable scenes from the drama while artists perform tracks such as “Here I Am,” “I Can’t Do It,” “That Woman,” and “Reason.”
Hyun Bin and Yoon Sang Hyun will also be making appearances in the drama, along with an event allowing fans a chance to win the highly popular track suit worn by Hyun Bin.
After the concert, 2,000 fans will be chosen to watch the second to last episode of “Secret Garden” together.
Footage taken at the concert will be used for the final episode scheduled to air on the 16th, and tickets will be on sale starting on the 6th through Interpark.

Bintang Korea yang akan WaMil tahun 2011!

Tahun baru sebentar lagi tiba, dan wajib militer telah menandai target mereka untuk melakukan pendaftaran di tahun 2011.

Rain  diharapkan untuk melayani layanan wajib militer paling lambat pada tahun 2011. Sementara ia sedang pergi (WaMil), Rain telah membuat rencana dengan JYP untuk “mengurus” perusahaan manajemennya, J-Tune (yang juga menaungi boy band MBLAQ).

Taecyeon 2PM, yang dicast dalam drama remaja mendatang dari kolaborasi Bae Yong-joon dan JYP “Dream High”, mungkin akan mencoba untuk menunda layanan itu. Namun, ujian tubuh yang dilakukan lebih awal mengungkapkan bahwa mungkin ada masalah dengan kondisi fisiknya. Meskipun begitu, Taecyeon menegaskan bahwa ia akan masuk militer dan melayani negaranya.

Selain itu, Hyun Bin, bintang dari drama hit, “Secret Garden” akan dikirim pergi selama 2 tahun pada bulan Maret 2011 bersama dengan Lee Teuk dari Super Junior.

Dream High’ releases OST Part 1

We are just less than 24 hours away from the premiere of KBS 2TV’s ‘Dream High‘ and Part 1 of the OST has just been released, to get fans into the mood.
Part 1 of the OST contains 2 songs, which are both performed by the idol cast members. The first titled, ‘Dream High‘, is sung by Wooyoung, Suzy and JOO, with rapping by Taecyeon, and ties in with the drama’s theme of running after your passions and dreams. The second song is titled, ‘Someday‘ and is performed by IU, and appears to be one for romantic scenes in the drama.

Super Junior’s leader Leeteuk talks about leaving for the army and his hopes for 2011

Super Junior’s leader Lee Teuk unexpectedly talked about his activities before he leaves for the army.
On this week’s episode of MBC “Enjoy Today”, Leeteuk and the other cast members went on a marathon in commemoration of the New Year.
The idol also revealed his hopes for 2011 as he said, “There’s not a lot of days left before I go to the army. I will undergo activites without any regrets. I wish to keep running for the new year. I hope Super Junior does well too.”

Shin Se Kyung did not attend SHINee’s concert

Actress Shin Se Kyung did not attend her boyfriend’s two-day concert, held on January 1st and 2nd.
Much attention has been put on her attendance, since it was revealed late last year that she was seeing SHINee’s Jonghyun. SM Entertainment eventually responded, “We’ve been informed that Shin Se Kyung will not be attending SHINee’s concert today (Jan.2).  She is filming for her movie, ‘Blue Salt‘, with Song Kang Ho.”
Meanwhile, SHINhee managed to gather over 20,000 fans for their first concert since their debut two years and seven months ago. Jonghyun, who has a leg injury, had Chinese trainee Issing take his place during a portion of his performances.  Jonghyun greeted, “I’m glad to be able to spend the New Year with my fans.  It’s a great start this year.”

Choi Siwon, wins the New Star Award “Giving this honour to our Super Junior members”

Idol group actor Super Junior Choi Siwon received the New Star award at the 2010 SBS Drama Awards.
During his acceptance speech, he expressed “ELF who have been loving Super Junior members and us sincerely, (I) want to always be with all of you”, and continued “Throughout this year, many things happened, our SM family and all the members, everyone has worked hard, please show lots of attention in the future.
At the same time, he stated “Also, (I) hope that everyone will like <Athena: Goddess of War> which is broadcasting at the moment, Choi Siwon will continue to work hard to become an excellent actor, we’re Super Juni~or!”, the image of him holding out his palm and shouting out the greeting attracted the attention of all.
